Naracoorte Caves runs a changing program of special tours across the year, peaking over the warmer months when the resident bent-wing bats fill the Bat Cave.
Visitors can watch the colony on infrared cameras, descend into the fossil chambers, or book adventure caving tours that crawl through passages off the standard route. Programs and times vary seasonally - check ahead before visiting.
